Introduction: Pneumonia is one of the most common diseases in modern medicine. It an inflammation lung parenchyma caused by various agents or noxae. present equally both sexes but does occur more commonly people who are older, immunocompromised have comorbidities (COPD, heart kidney diseases). The causing microorganisms Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzea, Moraxella catarrhalis and Mycoplasma pneumoniae. Treatment decisions based on physical examination results, lab analyses, sputum analysis, CURB65 PSI scores. patient then treated as in-patient out-patient. can be pharmacological non-pharmacological. Patients pharmacologically with combined antibiotic therapy according to antibiogram results or, commonly, empirically. Since a high mortality rate from pneumonia persists worldwide, adequate timely treatment these patients utmost importance.
